ENIKA Sp. z o.o. was established in 1992, and designs, manufactures and services power electronic equipment for railway, tramway and trolleybus vehicles, EV buses and for general industrial applications. Enika employs over 100 people. The core of the company is the Design Department, headed by an experienced design engineer and staffed with the young and most talented alumni of the Łódź Technical University. Initially we supplied the Polish market only, but our EU export business has been growing rapidly for several years. The basic business strategy is to provide reliable, cost-efficient and reasonably priced state-of-the-art solutions. We seek inspiration by monitoring global engineering trends and by working in close cooperation with scientific research centres. The certification we have secured (IRIS Revision 02 and ISO 9001:2008) demonstrate our utmost attention to the high quality of our products and full customer satisfaction.
We manufacture several hundred types of equipment, including voltage converters, complete asynchronous drive systems for tramway, trolleybus and EV bus vehicles, inverters, power supply units available in wide range of input and output voltages and power ratings up to 1.2 MW, A/C units with PSU for driver cabins of locomotives, electric train units, trams and trolleybuses, as well as for rail coaches, onboard heaters, contact system substation equipment, test stands, UPS systems, as well as a whole range of serial and custom products. The public transport line of products is available to new rolling stock manufacturers and vehicle repair and retrofit providers.
