The biggest challenge and the priority for modern bus operating companies is to provide eco-friendly and fuel efficient transport.
Enika offers an environmentally friendly Energy Recuperation System that reduces the demand for electricity generated by the vehicle’s alternator. This reduction in power demand improves fuel economy and reduces harmful vehicle exhaust emissions and noise levels. When engine braking is engaged, the regenerative breaking system converts the excess kinetic energy of the moving vehicle into electricity using the vehicle’s alternator. The generated electricity is stored in a supercapacitor and supplied to the vehicle’s power receivers.
The ENI-SBERS/20 energy recuperation system is intended for installation in vehicles with diesel engines, mainly public transport buses.
