Zero-emission buses

Converters

Buses powered by both electricity and hydrogen are ecological vehicles, but at the same time economical. The drive used in these vehicles does not emit exhaust fumes. For this reason, electric and hydrogen buses are considered environmentally friendly vehicles.
Converters enable the parameters of the supply voltage to be changed. These devices have two basic applications in electric buses. First, a power converter enables the charging of 24 VDC voltage batteries, and secondly, converters enable the supply of on-board equipment (e.g. air conditioning or heating systems) with 3-phase 400 VAC. Enika converters are housed in a sealed, coated aluminium case, ensuring they are resistant to the influences of external factors that could disturb their operation. The converter mounting method can be adjusted to individual needs, allowing them to be installed in electric buses from various manufacturers.
Enika is also an integrator of hydrogen bus systems. It designs, manufactures and supplies power electronic devices enabling the proper operation of the entire vehicle, in particular the hydrogen cell.

ENI-PH2/70.1 DC/DC converter of the hydrogen cell

The ENI-PH2/70.1 converter is designed to convert electric energy coming from a hydrogen cell and power electric bus devices with it (in particular charging a buffer traction battery).
