The 13th edition of the International TRAKO Fair took place between 24 and 27 September 2019. At the fair we were awarded a prize for continuous development in the CSR category of the Socially Responsible Railway Company 2019 competition.

In early October, Autosan’s first electric bus produced according to their own design was presented. ENIKA executed the design and delivery of the complete set of driving and steering gear for the bus. At present, the vehicle is in the process of obtaining homologation.

On 12 December, a verification audit found Enika eligible for another CoC from PKP Intercity. The PKP Intercity CoC qualifies Enika as a supplier of 3.1-certified railway equipment without any obligation to confirm this compliance or testing of it by the Acceptance Commissioners from PKP Intercity S.A.

The days 6-7 December saw the celebration of the 120th anniversary of public transport in Łódź, which also coincided with the 25th anniversary of MPK Łódź, the local public transport operator. ENIKA accepted MPK’s invitation to co-organise the celebrations.

In September, we started work on constructing another production hall. This will be our third production hall in Złotniki. The hall will be erected under the Regional Operational Programme for Łódzkie Voivodeship (II.3.1).

In September, we signed another contract with Gdańskie Autobusy i Tramwaje Sp. z o.o. For this contract, we will supply and deploy a total of 15 sets of equipment and electric devices used to modernise the drive and steering systems in N8C-MF18 and N8C-MF01 trams.

This year, we will start further deliveries of electric bus drives for URSUS BUS S.A. The first deliveries consist of 5 sets of electrical equipment for buses and 3 traction battery chargers for the City of Katowice. Further deliveries cover 6 electric equipment kits for buses to be put into service in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

Seven T3L441 trams and seven T5B647 trams have been used to transport passengers in Lviv and Kiev since 2016 and 2017, respectively. ENIKA designed and supplied the asynchronous drive systems, converters and steering systems for the aforementioned trams. All of the trams follow a completely low-floor design.

On 8 June, after a three-day verification audit, we received an ISO/TS 22163:2017 certificate. This certificate confirms that the quality management system in place at ENIKA meets the requirements of the international railway standard.

Ursus City Smile 12LFE electric buses have been transporting the inhabitants of Warsaw since the beginning of September. ENIKA designed and delivered a complete drive and control unit for these buses. It is a solution with a centrally located engine.

On the first day of TRAKO we signed a contract with Modertrans Poznań Sp. z o.o. for the supply of 40 sets of drive system, power supply, control and visualisation devices for the MF 24 AC partially low-floor tram used at MPK Wrocław.

On 26 September 2017, during the 12th TRAKO International Fair, we received the Prof. Czesław Jaworski Award from the Polish Association of Engineers and Technicians of Transportation (SITK RP) in the category of Vehicles, for our drive and power system with SiC transistors and liquid cooling for low-floor trams.

The 12th edition of the TRAKO International Fair was held from 26 to 29 September 2017, during which we won the Polish Chamber of Urban Transport’s Prof. Jan Podoski Award for our ENI-PT600/24/AC/25 static converter for trams with silicon carbide (SiC) transistors.

The newest shunting engine in the Polish market, modernised by Tabor Dębica Sp. z o.o., has been equipped with a set of power electronic devices of our production. The modernisation of the SM42 locomotive allows for lower consumption of fuel and consumables, and ensures a significant improvement in the driver’s working conditions.

The design for a partly low-floor tram equipped with the latest technologies was developed with ENIKA. On 18 November 2016, the official presentation took place of a fully low-floor Moderus Gamma tram at the head office of Modetrans Poznań Sp. z o.o. The project was carried out by ENIKA, who delivered the ENI-ZNAP/GAMMA devices that constituted the complete power and control system for the Moderus Gamma.

The “Strong in Business” award ceremony closed the first day of the IX European Economic Forum, which took place at the Andel Hotel Łódź. Enika Sp. z o.o. was nominated in the EU Project with Potential category.

Just like the last year, our company joined the award-winning group of the most dynamic SMEs. On 03 February 2016, the city of Łódź hosted the Gazele Biznesu Gala, where the Gazelles were given to the most dynamically growing businesses of the Łódź Province. This year our company won the title and Quality Business Certificate of “Fair Play Enterprise” for the first time. A gala was held on 27 November 2015 in Warsaw to award the statuettes and Quality Business Certificates.

Between 22 and 25 September 2015, the 11th TRAKO International Railway Fair was held, during which we were awarded the Engineer Ernest Malinowski Award for a high-power static converter for subway cars.

This year for the first time, our company joined the award-winning group of the most dynamic SMEs. On 14 January 2015, the city of Łódź hosted the Gazele Biznesu Gala, where the Gazelles were given to the most dynamically growing businesses of the Łódzkie Province.

During the ceremonial Gala of the European Economic Forum, Provincial Marshal Witol Stępien and Provincial Governor Jolanta Chełmińska handed over the 2014 Łódzkie Province Economic Awards to the winners. This year our company was ranked among the Łódzkie Province Economic Award nominees in the Innovation category.

The 6th TRAKO International Railway Fair was held between 12 and 14 October 2005, where Enika was awarded the Professor Czesław Jaworski Distinction of Merit for the KLIL-09 driver cab A/C unit.

During the 2001 TRAKO International Railway Fair, ENIKA Sp. z o.o. received the Professor Czesław Jaworski SITK Award for the ENI-EPNP overcurrent relays. The award is given for superior achievements in the application of new technologies in contact system equipment.

In 2001, our company received the ZŁOTY SEMAFOR Award for the ENI-PT600/24/AC static converter. The award is given by the Polish Chamber of Railway Equipment Manufacturers and Service Providers.

The 5th TRAKO International Railway Fair was held between 15 and 17 October 2003, where Enika was awarded the Professor Czesław Jaworski Distinction of Merit for the ENI-PL3000/110 static converter.

In 1999, Enika was distinguished for its ENI-PT600/40/W tramway static converter during the 4th City Transportation Show in Łódź.
